Michael is a Director responsible for the Private / Consulting side of the Business and has a broad base of experience across a variety of property classes.
Valuation and Consulting experience
Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the valuation of all forms of real estate. He undertakes valuations and prepares reports for a variety of clients including residential / commercial / industrial / retail valuations, acquisition & compensation valuations, family law valuations, valuations for probate / deceased estates, capital gains tax and retrospective valuations, Owners Corporation Insurance valuations, rent assessments and providing a variety of valuation services to the Valuer-General Victoria and other State Government departments. Michael has also undertaken valuation for rating and taxing, financial reporting and sale and purchase.
He commenced his career in Local Government at the City of Camberwell in 1989 qualifying as a Valuer in 1995 and in the same year opened Patel Dore Valuers Pty Ltd with Rodney Patel, at that time providing valuation services to Local Government, The Valuer-General Victoria, Owner Corporate managers, State Trustees and a number of financial institutions.
